I took off work Friday, ill. Yes, I really went to the Dr. for this recurring fever I've had since Christmas (never over 100) and they assume exhaustion. Huh? So my dryer hasn't been working for a few days so I called the repair man out, he was fast 30 min. it was the vent - so I went off to Home Depot to get a new one to fix it.

...And while I was there, I had the novice idea of figuring out the electrical work that has not been done since we remodeled the kitchen. Okay, so I ask the man there and he explains it all so quickly. I figure it out, and it works!





Two were done and I was excited and decided to tackle a third. I had to pull out the outlets exchange the dirty brown to new white and then pull forward the box so I could screw a plate on over the tile. The Third...there are 6 wires coming out! I have only seen 4...you know black on brass, white on silver. So I'm just so confused I leave the power off and hook up the fridge to the extension cord running to another room. Of course it's on a continuous circuit (reason for the fridge not working). So Adam comes home, tells me we are going out to eat, he doesn't want me cooking with exposed wires. I kinda agree, but my stove and everything was on a different breaker, but anyways he fixes it with a pig tail and some choice words to boot...and I continue on the next day and switch out all the ones in the boys rooms and the living room 49 Cents EACH...no electrician required. I feel like the most awesome Handy Woman. :)

Thought you might all want to see the cool pics of Kobie and his new guitar we searched for and found, then bought this weekend. It was a long time, I was supposed to go dress shopping with Steph and bailed b/c Kobie was taking more time than I had alloted in my schedule, who knew how hard it would be to find a bass guitar his size? BUT I found a dress in between stops and was thrilled it was under $35.00 just need a black shawl to go with it b/c it's strapless. If you have one, let me know.
