You may call me the field trip queen...b/c I love to stay active.
Today the boys, John H & I went to Scott, AR. We had a picnic lunch @ Toltec Mounds and then walked the 1 1/4 mile trail. We then visited the indoor museum their on the property and the kids were fascinated with the dead animal skins...Kinda gross, but of course the bunny rabbit was softest of all.
On down the road we reached the Plantation Agriculture Museum. We saw how they farmed back in the old days, restored tractors, and the tractor graveyard. The boys loved looking up close at how they used to process cotton to remove the seeds from the plant.
All of this cost us $15.00 and less than a 1/4 tank of gas. FYI : You get 1/2 price admission to one after you visit the other in the same day. And Family Rates are $10.
